zoom-poker-pokerstarsZoom Poker is the latest innovation at PokerStars. If you like fast-paced action and non-stop poker, Zoom Poker is exactly what you are looking for.

In Zoom Poker, you fold a hand and you are instantly taken to a new table and dealt a new hand against a new set of opponents. It is very similar to Rush Poker on Full Tilt, the difference is that you can play on PokerStars right now whereas for Full Tilt you will just have to wait!

Players can fold at any point in the hand when there is a bet in front of them. You can click the ‘Fast Fold’ button, which allows you to fold when it is not even your turn to act. This enables you to move on to the next hand at a different table before everyone else finishes playing their hand, thus speeding up the action immensely.

The beta version is currently available for you to try out right now. You can find Zoom tables under the new ‘Zoom’ tab in the PokerStars software. For now, Zoom Poker will only be offered at certain stakes in ring games for No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha. Currently the micro stakes ($0.01/$0.02 – $0.02/$0.05) and play money are available. It is likely that PokerStars will add higher stakes in the future.

Zoom Poker Tips

We advise you to start by playing one table at a time only, because the action is very fast. You will never have to wait while you are not in the hand anymore! You can join up to four tables at once when you get more comfortable.

You can also watch the end of a hand by holding the CTRL key when you the click Fold button. If you use ‘Fast Fold’ however, you will be unable to remain on that table and watch the end of the hand.

You should use the Fast Fold often, but when you are 100% sure no matter what the action is in front of you, you are going to fold your hand. This will enable you to move to a new table immediately with a new hand and new set of opponents.

There are options available to try different Zoom table animations. These can be found by clicking ‘Options’ > ‘Table Display Options’ > ‘Zoom Animation’.

If you want to play Zoom Poker and do not have a PokerStars account, simply download PokerStars through PokerMedley. Then enter the marketing code pokermedley.com and the bonus code stars600 and you will be able to get a 100% deposit bonus up to $600.

On top of the deposit bonus, you will also be eligible for more prizes and rewards. For more information please read about the PokerMedley Rewards scheme.

  1. I love the idea of zoom poker and the way that as soon as you fold you are transported to another game immediately. However, given that poker is a very strategic game, you simply do not have adequate time to think about your hand. I would warn prospective contestants to not continue playing zoom if you are on a losing streak as your debts could spiral out of control.

  2. If you haven’t tried Zoom Poker then you are definitely missing out!
